Your tasks

• Development of methods for detecting and classifying anomalies in road traffic (construction sites, traffic jams, hazards) based on sensor data from vehicles and the infrastructure
• Programming algorithms for data fusion (ideally C++ and/or Python)
• Implementation of measurement campaigns to collect data for the development and validation of the algorithms
• Data analysis using statistical and machine learning methods

Your profile

• Scientific university degree in electrical engineering, physics, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, computer science, mathematics or a related field
• Excellent command of German or English and at least basic knowledge of the other language
• Experience in image processing, sensor data fusion and machine learning
• Experience in the field of sensors - Sound programming experience (C++, Python, Matlab)
• Experience in the field of virtual validation (e.g. CarMaker or Virtual Test Drive) and/or robotics is desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork and good organizational skills
