Your tasks
Develop and implement advanced AI algorithms, focusing on their application in the production and operation of electrical drive systems.
Analyze production and operation data to extract relevant features, employing advanced data-driven approaches.
Integrate AI systems into existing lab test benches to enhance electric mobility solutions.
Collaborate closely with industry partners to apply and validate the developed solutions, ensuring real-world impact.
Publish research results in reputable journals and conferences, sharing knowledge and driving further advancements.
Work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers and scientists from different disciplines and fields of expertise.
Explore the opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. in a relevant research area and significantly contribute to your academic journey.
Your profile
Scientific university degree in artificial intelligence, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
Proficient knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analysis
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, R, or C++
Hands-on experience with popular machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn is an advantage
Familiarity with electric drive systems or production processes is advantageous
Excellent command of German and English
Enthusiasm for innovative technologies in electric mobility and manufacturing as well as cxvellent communication and teamwork skills, coupled with a structured and independent approach to work

Payment: according to TV-L EG 13

Your tasks
Possible doctoral projects are (but not limited to):
Research and design of innovative high-efficiency inverter topologies such as Multilevel Inverters
Impedance spectroscopy for battery diagnosis
Data Analytics for fuel cell testing
Scientific investigations of software-based concepts for Intelligent Drive Systems
AI for anomaly detection in the production of electrical drive components
Your profile
Scientific university degree in electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, computer science or a related field
Excellent command of German and English
Basic programming skills in Matlab/Simulink, C/C++ and/or Python
Ability to work independently and in a team
Problem solving ability and creativity
