The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Augsburg is offering 11 positions for
doctoral researchers (Dr. rer. nat. and Dr. rer. biol. hum. candidates, m/f/d)
as of summer 2025.
These positions are associated with the newly established AUgsburg Research School on EnvironMENT - Disease Interactions (AUGMENT). AUGMENT provides a structured and interdisciplinary training program. Its research explores how environmental stressors affect different organ systems as well as therapeutic approaches and response. Your Profile:
- A university master’s degree in natural sciences, health sciences, or a related field that qualifies for doctoral studies in Germany. For degrees from non-German institutions, the equality with a German university degree at master’s level must be ensured.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) at a B2 level.
- Strong academic performance.
- Enthusiasm and dedication to conducting independent research.
- First experience in independent project work.
- Team-oriented with the ability to thrive in an international research environment.
The required qualification must already be proven in the application documents by means of appropriate certificates.
